From July 27th to 30th, the Astures and Romans Festival will be celebrated in Astorga, declared of Regional Touristic Interest. The program of activities includes various historical reenactments held at different locations throughout the city. Among the highlights are the Roman circus, the Caesar’s welcome, the victory parade, the Roman market, and the Astur-Roman cuisine sessions. The Astur-Roman camp hosts different demonstrations, workshops, and ceremonies; additionally, the camp is an open space where different Asturian tribes, Roman legions, and groups coexist throughout the entire festival.
